Gas Hydrates in the Geo-System II
Between October 2004 and February 2008, four joint research projects were funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Science (BMBF) within the German National Gas Hydrates Research Programme under the umbrella of the R&D-Programme GEOTECHNOLOGIEN:
- COMET - Controls on Methane Fluxes and their Climatic Relevance in marine Gas Hydrate Bearing Environments
- INGO - Investigation on the Nature of Gas Hydrate Occurrences - Structure, Composition, and Physical Properties
- METRO - Methane and Methane Hydrates within the Black Sea: Structural Analysis, Quantification and Impact of a Dynamic Methane Reservoir
- MUMM II - Methane in the Bio-/Geo-System: Turnover, Metabolism and Microorganisms II
