The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports the following projects within this GEOTECHNOLOGIEN Key Research Area since 2009. All Projects focus on the analysis of Earth's magnetic and gravitational field as observed by the satellite missions CHAMP, GRACE and GOCE:
- Future Missions - Future Gravity Field Satellite Missions
Co-ordination: Prof. N. Sneeuw, Prof. W. Fichter, Uni. Stuttgart und Prof. J. Müller, Uni. Hannover - LOTSE - CHAMP GRACE - Long Time Series of Consistently Reprocessed High-Accuracy CHAMP/GRACE Products
Co-ordination: Dr. F. Flechtner, GFZ Potsdam - REAL-GOCE - Real Data Analysis GOCE
Co-ordination: Prof. W.-D. Schuh, Uni. Bonn
In addition, the German Research Foundation (DFG) supports the priority programme SPP 1257 "Mass Transport and Mass Distribution in the Earth System".
