Space: REAL GOCE

The principle of satellite gravity gradiometers is adopted in the GOCE mission . The analytical approach is therefore based on system specifications and simulations. This concept is now to be tested in the first mission phase. Factors such as actual current orbital altitude, solar activity, energy consumption and data coverage which were not accurately simulated in advance must now be integrated into the real data analysis.
