GEOTECHNOLOGIEN at the DGG conference in Hamburg

The coordination office GEOTECHNOLOGIEN will present most recent technical and methodical developments from the key research theme "Tomography of the Earth's Crust" at this year's annual meeting of the German Geophysical Union (DGG) in Hamburg, March 5 - 8. The GEOTECHNOLOGIEN-experts as well as scientists from research projects are looking forward to meet you at the information booth to discuss new ideas, recommendations and to present the new technologies "on-site".

In addition, GEOTECHNOLOGIEN presents a Special Session on various themes from active projects within the R&D-Programme.

New Team Member

The coordination office GEOTECHNOLOGIEN welcomes a new member to its team. Mrs. Alexandra Scherer, graduated chemist with extraordinary additional skills in informatics studied at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and at the University of Toronto.
After graduation, she worked at the Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR, German Space Agency).
Since November 2011, Mrs Scherer is responsible for strategies to establish new technology transfer tools within the geo-scientific community at the GEOTECHNOLOGIEN coordination office.
